MUSIC IN TUNE WITH HEALTH AND WELLBEING

'AA deep understanding of the fulfilling and rewarding powers of music underline my determination to bring about positive change. Swell music has enabled me to connect with other likeminded people and use our wealth of experience to bring about valuable opportunities for vulnerable members of the community here in East Suffolk.’

ABOUT HELEN

Following a career in music and teaching, including owning and managing the world-renowned Potton Hall recording studio, Helen decided to go freelance in 2018.  She trained as a dementia-friendly and Singing for Lung Health practitioner and is a Sing to Beat Parkinson’s leader. Together with an in-depth understanding of autism and mental health issues, Helen brings a high level of energy and a unique skill set to her work.

Swell Music lays a solid platform for Helen to share her passion for music with some of the most vulnerable members of the community, providing very much needed opportunities right here in East Suffolk.  Helen also works as Music Co-Ordinator at First Light Festival in Lowestoft and enjoys performing in her swing band, Out of Nowhere.

“Sharing my joy of making music is a wonderful experience.  Seeing a smile from somebody who is having the toughest day is why I do this.”  Helen Hayes
